Dear Parents/Guardians,

Your cadet is bringing home a Poinsettia Fundraising packet on October 24. (If they are not at cadets this evening, then they can obtain a packet the following week and in addition, it will be emailed to you so that you can print at home.)

We are asking each cadet to fundraise for Iron Duke to ensure that the program is able to continue and that we continue to be able to offer many different non-DND supported activities, such as the spring trip, to the cadets.  There will be a prize for the top-selling cadet.  We do not want cadets going door-to-door but would like them (and/or you) to ask friends, family, coworkers, and/or close neighbours to buy a poinsettia, plant arrangement, planter or wreath, to help support this worthy cause.  We strongly encourage that each family at least purchase one item.  Monies must be collected and submitted at time of order.

There are 10 different choices this year, ranging from $7 to $62.  There is something for everyone. Some plants are available in a choice of colours as well. These are all grown by Terra greenhouses.

Did You Know...Poinsettias are not poisonous! They are not intended for human/animal consumption, but a person/animal would have to eat over their body weight in the plant for it to be dangerous.

All orders and monies must be returned to Iron Duke by November 14, 2018 so that orders can be placed in time.  As these are live plants, orders must be picked up by cadets/parents on December 1 at Iron Duke.

Thank you for your support.

We need everyone's active participation and support in our fundraising efforts.  There will be additional fundraising activities taking place throughout this year in order to support and enhance the IRON DUKE cadet program.
