IRON DUKE offers many activities beyond those provided by DND. To maintain the  excellent program offered by IRON DUKE, parents and/or guardians are asked  to join the Navy League of Canada (NLC) Burlington Branch in order to assist in its fundraising activities. Purchasing a NLC membership helps to ensure the costs to run our dynamic program are covered.

Membership is $10.00/year. These fees are used to directly support the IRON DUKE's  non- DND funded program costs.

The Navy League of Canada Burlington Branch is the main sponsor for the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Iron Duke. The Navy League is a volunteer led organization. Many of the members are parents of cadets and volunteer their time while their child is enjoying the program.
Several fundraising events are held throughout the training year, those include tagging, bottle drives, raffles and other special events.
The Sea Cadet Program is offered to your child for free, however we do require 10 hours of volunteer hours from the parents. (single parents are required to do 5 hours) There are several ways to participate: set up and tear down at annual, making phone calls, cooking, transportation, special events, etc). Please download and complete the initial Volunteer Screening application below and return it to the Navy League (Burlington) or the Sea Cadet Corps. We thank you for your support
